Discovery 3.0 by IGzlz

Woah, it's been quite a while since I last submited anything. Reason is I had been working on a few traditional portrait drawings and didn't have much time left for the digital world, however these upcoming vacation days I'll be planning a couple more I had in mind, for when I have the free time. I have been uploading these drawings to my facebook page, and I might just upload them to a special folder here in my DA Gallery, in a couple days, but you can stop by and have a look here:

This is the third in a short series, Discovery, and it's based on the same premise as the last two, I actually have 2 more in mind for these, perhaps the last 2.

Hope you like it guys. If so you can follow me through FB for more stuff.
Cheers! :)

This is sort of a continuation of the concept I had in mind of some rather shy beings experiencing new things, hope you enjoy!

It's a late night practice from last night, I've been aiming to draw something every night for a couple days now, simple stuff that I've been uploading to the FB page, I'll be uploading quick works/sketches and other stuff over there, if you'd like to follow me :)

Garfield by IGzlz
Well, to start off I must first mention this is completely yet someeewhat incidentaly inspired by Dan Luvisi's series of illustrations "Popped Colture", it started as a kinda creepy/awkward sketch for one or two ideas I had of a Garfield I wanted to paint and give to my mother for her birthday (yes, you could guess she loves that fat orange cat), I decided to leave this sketch for later and see if I could have fun trying to color it, and instead painted a rather.. friendly and silly Garfield for my beloved mother's special day :P , which is here stashed in my gallery as well.

You MUST go see Dan Luvisi's work if you haven't, besides it being so good I can't call it anything less than "astounding", I'd feel twice as bad for making it seem like I plain tried to copy his work. Still, he's someone I've followed for almost as long as I've loved digital art, and thus ended up learning a lot from, and also being very influenced by.
